Classic Peru 5 days / 4 nights

  • Day 1 Lima

    Your guide will meet you at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

    Check in 13:00 Hrs at the hotel. In case the flight arrives in the early morning, luggage will be left at the storage.

    In the afternoon, you will be picked up at the hotel to begin a tour of Lima, it starts with a the Colonial part in the historical Centre. Our first stop will be The Plaza de Armas (Main Square), where you will admire the front of the Palacio de Gobierno (Government Palace), the Cathedral of Lima, Archbishop`s Palace, and the Municipalidad (City Hall), as a symbol of Colonial times on 16th Century.

    Continue with the San Francisco Monastery and its famous underground crypts known as the Catacombs.

    Then, we will visit the modern part and the neighbors of Isidro and Miraflores where we will see the Financial Center, the San Isidro Golf Course and the Olive Grove Park. We will also go by the Huaca Pucllana, a pre-inca pyramid shape temple that has survived the expansion of modern civilization. We will stop at Parque del Amor (Love Park) and enjoy a nice view of the Pacific. Once the tour ends, you will be transferred to the hotel.

    Optional dinner: at the Rosa Nautica restaurant. Located over the sea, it is a charming restaurant with a unique atmosphere, specialized in sea food and international cuisine (with transfers included)

  • Day 2 Lima / Cusco

    In the morning, transfer to the airport for boarding the flight to Cusco. Reception at airport and transfer to the hotel. Check in 13 hrs. Luggage will be left at the storage.

    In the afternoon, we will visit the city starting The Qorikancha or Golden Temple, considered the Incas’ most important religious center dedicated to the Sun God. Continue with the impressive streets and buildings as a sample of splendor in colonial age, built on top of old foundation of Inca Palaces. Walk around Main square, Cathedral where you will enjoy the fabulous architecture, and well known paintings from Cusco´s school dated on 17th and 18th Century.

    Then, you will board a bus to visit the archaeological sites near the city. On the way we will stop at the San Cristobal lookout where we will get one of the most beautiful views of Cusco. Next we will visit Sacsayhuaman. We will see its impressive stone buildings and hear about the construction techniques used by the Incas. Complete the journey through the ceremonial centers of Q´enqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay. Back to Cusco and transfer to the hotel.

    Optional dinner: at Tunupa restaurant with folklorical show (transfers included)

  • Day 3 Cusco / Sacred Valley

    We start our visit to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first stop will be at a Textile Center where we will see a demonstration of weaving arts in its most natural expression.

    Then, we continue with the Pisac town, a small village well known by the artisan market where are sold different kind of pottery, textile, and articles made of Stone, wood, silver, etc. We will take a break for enjoying our lunch in Urubamba (included), other typical village.

    We will spend the afternoon visiting Ollantaytambo, one of the most important Archaeological Inca Complex used as a fortress during the time of the Spanish conquest.

    At proper time back to the town and transfer to the hotel.

  • Day 4 Sacred Valley / Machu Picchu / Cusco

    Today we start early in the morning to go to Ollanta train station to get the train to Aguas Calientes. Aboard a comfortable train you will enjoy the 2 hours ride, with spectacular view along the way. Upon arrival, you will transfer to a bus that will take you to the entrance gate of the citadel of Machu Picchu. Rediscovered by Hiram Bingham more than a century ago, Machu Picchu is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Its architectural beauty, spectacular natural landscapes and the energy held in its enigmatic structures will take your breath away. You will follow in the footsteps of the ancient Incans as you explore this magical citadel along with your guide. At the scheduled time, you will be back to Aguas Calientes and then continue to the train Station, where you will board your return train. Upon your arrival at the station just outside of Cusco, a private transfer service will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in the city. Optional lunch: at Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge, the one located besides Machu Picchu citadel, with the option to back the city again after lunch.

  • Day 5 Cusco / Lima

    At proper time, transfer to the airport in Cusco to fly back to Lima. End of our services.
